The Axial SCX-10 Kit (part #90007) is a 1/10th scale crawler. When I say scale I mean it is to scale of a Full Size truck.

Its Chassis is a steel C Channel with cross bars very much like a full size truck chassis. It uses the same transmission and suspension (except shocks) as its cousin the Axial scorpion kit (part #90001).

If you want a Scale Crawler but don’t want to build it Axial has released a TR or Trail Ready version of the SCX-10.

The kit is pretty standard you need to purchase the Motor, ESC, Steering servo, and receiver separate from the kit.

The Kit itself is excellent, comes with good instructions and plenty of spare parts. Although this is one tough RC I have yet to break anything except for the body. But that is pretty normal for me I am rough on bodies.

For the Power Plant I decided to use the Team Novak Rooster Crawler Edition ESC/55 Turn Brushed Motor combo. It is an excellent set up. I didn’t see a need for a brushless set up.
